Anew Day Counseling Center Supports Local Needs

The Annual Mike Bratton II Turkey Trot Run and Walk held on Thanksgiving Day provides an opportunity for Nevada County residents to come together for a little exercise, a lot of socializing, and an opportunity to contribute to a good cause- Anew Day Counseling Center in Grass Valley. The counseling center is the major beneficiary of the Turkey Trot. Anew Day Executive Director, Greg DeWolf, says the Center provides much needed services to the community.

Bratton’s generosity and commitment to educate the community, especially those suffering from depression, has provided Anew Day with revenue to continue to provide service at no cost. Fifty percent of the funds generated by the Turkey Trot go directly to support Anew Day.
