Another fun ride along

This past weekend I went on a ride along with Rocklin Police. It is interesting how different the challenges are from department to department as I have enjoyed ride alongs in Placer and Nevada County, the cities and special units as well. In Rocklin we spent time shutting down parties that were too loud for neighbors. At one point I found my self in the middle of a golf course, popping water balloons found in an ice chest that were to be thrown at passing cars. I hated to ruin the harmless fun of a water balloon fight but frankly, throwing them at cars can be dangerous. Officer Greg Jensen was a courteous and professional host. I will be with Truckee CHP this weekend.
