Arrest made In Fatal Hit and Run on I-80

An Arrest has been made in a fatal Hit and Run accident in Newcastle. On Tuesday, March 20th, at approximately 4:15 pm, 30 year old tow truck driver David Robinson Jr. was struck and killed by a motorist on westbound I-80, west of Ophir Road with assistance from the Placer County Sheriff’s Department and witness accounts from the public, the Auburn Area CHP was led to the Foresthill Area where they were able to locate both the vehicle and driver that struck and killed Mr. Robinson.  The vehicle is a 1991 Silver Honda Accord with major windshield damage.  The driver and owner of this vehicle is Christopher Michael Keller (age 25 from Newcastle).  Mr. Keller was arrested at approximately 6:45 pm today and transported and booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of Vehicular Manslaughter and Felony hit and run.
