Attempted Robbery at Auburn Pharmacy

Placer County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a male suspect that allegedly attempted to rob the pharmacy at the Auburn Raley’s Store Saturday morning. According to Information Officer Dena Ewrwin, shortly after 9:15 AM the suspect approached the counter nad handed the clerk a note.

Erwin says the store was evacuated and deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect, thought to be between 35 and 45 years old, was wearing a hooded black jacket, black pants, light-colored shoes, and a baseball cap with a lighter colored bill.

Anyone that may have seen the suspect or suspect vehicle, or has any information, is asked to contact the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
