Auburn Stolen Safe From Church

The public’s help is being requested in the search for a stolen safe from an Auburn church. An unknown suspect or suspects entered the Cornerstone Community Church on Dry Creek Road sometime between 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10 and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11. They broke a window to get in and a 2nd window on a door to gain entry into a locked office. The suspects rummaged through the office and removed a black-colored safe. Anyone with information on this crime or anyone who finds a safe, perhaps discarded, is urged to contact the Placer County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 889-7800.
