Lewis was taken by ambulance to Sutter Roseville hospital where he died of his injuries. Martinez says drugs or alcohol were not a factor, and Lewis was wearing a helmet. The Highway Patrol is still investigating.

I think it is important to note that in addition to the comment of "drugs and alcohol were not a factor", that excessive speed was also NOT a factor. Peace be with you, Josh.

Josh, i miss ya. I will always remember the times we spent together. Getting to know you. Being new at DO. You accepting me with open arms. I wish you were here taking and hiding my tailgate. I miss you. Love forever and always.
