Big Cocaine Bust Reported in Truckee

Following a 4-month investigation, the Truckee Police Department’s Investigations Division arrested two Truckee residents for ongoing sales of cocaine. Detective Sergeant Jason Litchie with the Truckee Police Department says On Tuesday, with the assistance of the DEA, Truckee detectives and officers executed two felony arrest warrants and a residential search warrant.

“When we entered the residence, we located some cocaine that had been hidden inside the house with just shy $10,000 in cash and some other paraphernalia.”

Detectives recovered ½ pound of cocaine packaged for distribution, along with the $10,000 in cash. The cocaine was located in an area of the residence that was accessible to children living at the residence.

Conrado Rodriguea-Quintero was arrested for Possession of Narcotics, Sales of Cocaine, Criminal Conspiracy, and Child Endangerment. Salvador Ruvalcaba-Munoz was arrested for Sales of Cocaine and Criminal Conspiracy.  Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Wayne Brown correctional Facility for prosecution.
