Cascade Shores Emergency Draws Helicopter to Circle Area

Some residents of Cascade Shores were awakened early Sunday morning by what sounded like police activity in the neighborhood.  Nevada County undersheriff Henry Serano says a deputy was responding to a call   from the 15-thousand block of Mountain View from a woman who said her husband was making threats.

“Her husband had been drinking, was intoxicated and had threatened to harm himself. The wife went to call and when she returned to where her husband was, she observed what she believed to be a cut on one of his wrists and officers responded and we asked for assistance of the helicopter from CHP.”

The undersheriff says eventually the Helicopter did respond and did several circles over the area searching for the man.  Eventually deputies located him and determined that, other than drinking he was ok and took him back to his residence.
