Incumbent Paula Campbell captured the most votes in the Nevada City School District Board of Trustees election Tuesday. Long time board member, Campbell, led vote-getters with thirty-six percent. Campbell says student achievement, fiscal stability, and class sizes are her priorities as the district moves forward.
The race for the second available seat is much closer. As of Wednesday morning, incumbent Trish Gerving had just over a one percent advantage over Erin Minett which is a total of 88 votes. Agustine Del Valle had previously withdrawn from the race but still received twelve percent of the vote.
