County Executive Officer Rick Haffey says the County Board of Supervisors are talking once again about consolidating four publicly elected positions down to two. The positions in question are the treasurer/ tax collector and the auditor/controller, and the registrar of voters with the county assessor. The Board of Supervisors will discuss putting an advisory vote on the November ballot regarding the issue at their next meeting on Tuesday, the 26th, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be at the Rood Center on Maidu Avenue in Nevada City.
