First Lady Michelle Obama is behind a Healthy kids Project yesterday to get as many kids as possible doing jumping jacks in a 24 hour period and the Health Coordinator for Deer Creek School Yolanda Williges says there kids are very excited to be participating.
“Everybody has a time frame to get as many kids to do jumping jacks in one minute and we do a head count. We have 500 kids in the school, so we’re going to have 250 of them do it at one time for one minute and then the other 250.”
Other local schools were also participating in the 24 hours of Jumping jacks around the world.
Official observers will be certifying results and sending them in the Guinness Book of World Records.
