Dave Bear, the new Swap Shop Host! Dave has been in radio for a while. His first job was hosting a Swap Shop program in Craig, CO in the the late 70's. Most recently he co-hosted the morning show on our sister station STAR 94 FM with Hollie Grimaldi-Flores, and helped with the creation of the Shopping Show on KNCO and former sister station KUBA in Yuba City. Dave worked at KUBA for 25 years in various capacities and has lived there for nearly as long. Dave has a big family and enjoys all his kids and now grandkids. Diaper Dilema

This story isn’t getting lots of press yet, I guess it just hasn’t hit the fan yet.

An explosion at at Japanese chemical plant is going to effect the absorbency of diapers.  The company make an ingredient that makes the diapers super absorbent.  This one plant makes up to 10 percent of the world acrylic acid, and 20 percent of the the associated resin called SAP.

My advise is to stock up now and ride the flood of less absorbent diapers.  Remember, when the diaper package says 8 to 12 pounds, that’s all they will hold . . . . . . .
