Dorsey Drive Project Moving Forward

Progress is being made on the Dorsey Drive Interchange Project.
Grass Valley Public Works Director, Tim Kiser, provided a project update on the at Tuesday night’s City Council Meeting.

With the mandatory Bidder’s Meeting on December 5th, Kiser anticipates opening the bid process on January 10th and providing recommendations to the Council at the last meeting in January or first meeting in February.
Kiser stated that construction costs have been fluctuating as a result of the economy.

Several contractors have contacted the City for project specifications and Public Works will have a clearer picture of what companies are seriously interested at the December 5th mandatory meeting.
