Driver Pulled Over for Tinted Windows Arrested for DUI

The driver of a car being stopped for tinted windows had the bad luck to be stopped by a specially trained Highway Patrol Officer. The 2003 Honda was on Banner View and had tinted windows through out the vehicle, which is a violation. Public Information officer Heather Blancarte says the officer, who is a specially trained drug recognition expert saw the signs of drug use.

“Upon contact with the driver, the officer observed the signs of drug impairment. An evaluation was performed and it was determined by the officer that the driver was driving while under the influence of drugs.”

The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The female passenger was found to have a warrant for her arrest and was in violation of her probation, she was also taken into custody.
