A local driver who was stopped for having a tail light out is now in jail on a variety of charges. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the driver was stopped late Monday night on East Main Street for having a brake light out. The driver 30 year old Kyle Hall was found to not have a driver’s license and was on probation. The Sheriff says a search of Hall’s car revealed suspected meth amphetamine.

“During the search of the suspect, we found methamphetamine on his person as well as six additional small bags of methamphetamine. Also located inside was a cylinder attached to his keys that contained two small pills which is known as Delouden, a controlled substance.”

Hall was taken into custody for suspicion of drug possession, possession for sale, possession of drugs without a prescription, driving on a revoked license and violation of probation.
