After a weekend of relatively good DUI related statistics, Tuesday evening a DUI collision occurred in Penn Valley. The incident led to two arrests. CHP Officer Greg Tassone tells KNCO the collision occurred on Pleasant Valley Road near Williams Ranch School just before 6 PM.
The truck was disabled and the rear-end of the truck was sticking out into road. Officers arrived and learned there were three passengers as well as the driver. The driver appeared to be under the influence.
The situation changed a bit while trying to assist the three passengers with rides. The CHP discovered one of the passengers kept changing his identity and place of residence.
22 year old Dodd Wilson of Yuba County was taken into custody for providing False ID and the warrants from Yuba County.
The two other passengers were teenage girls who were released to a guardian.
