DUI suspected in Greenhorn Road Crash

CHP officers arrested a driver for Suspicion of DUI after he crashed his vehicle into a PG and E power pole off of Greenhorn Road at 5:40 p.m. Saturday. CHP officer Heather Blancarte says 26 year old Wesley Wright of Grass Valley was driving the vehicle and had a 32 year old Grass Valley man in the front passenger seat.

The passenger door was the point of impact and the passenger was taken by air ambulance to Sutter roseville Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. Wright was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries then booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for Felony DUI.
