There was quite a bit of shaking from an earthquake that rattled a large part of Northern California shortly before midnight last night. The Quake was recorded at 11:36 P.M. The U.S. Geological Survey says it was a magnitude 4.7 quake. It was centered about 90 miles northeast of Sacramento near Whitehawk, California. The USGS Website lists it on the Mohawk Valley Fault line. No damage has been reported but lots of people reported feeling the steady shaking that lasted about 15 to 20 seconds.
