Extra Patrols for Halloween Night

Extra patrols will be out during the Halloween evening looking for drunk drivers. The Grass Valley Police and other area agencies will step up their enforcement efforts to stop impaired drivers while so many children are out on Halloween night. A spokesperson says if you are planning a costume party, plan for people to make their way home if they have been drinking. Law enforcement is advising if you have been drinking, call a friend or a taxi. If you see a drunk driver call 911. And friends do not let friends drive drunk. The increase in patrols will be seen throughout the county by the five different law enforcement agencies.
