The majority of the Fire Safe Council funds come from federal grants that require a 20-50% cash match of local funds and Grant funds may be in jeopardy if adequate local funds cannot be raised.

Keep an eye out for volunteers with helmets in hand at the Rite Aid and B&C True Value shopping centers in the Brunswick basin and at the K-Mart and Raley’s shopping centers in Grass Valley.
