Howard Levine, Executive Director of the Grass Valley downtown Association is the guest speaker September 6th at the First Tuesday Democrats meeting speaking on the topic of Economic Development.
“You still have to create a competitive environment. You have to have exciting things going on THAT GIVE PEOPLE A REASON TO BE IN YOUR COMMUNITY. You have to think about what is sustainable as an economic priority. You have to think about what the trends are, how they affect both the general public as well as the business climate. Those are the things that you’re dealing with in order to attract people.”
The First Tuesday Democrats meetings will be held at the Nevada City Vets hall at 415 N Pine Street off Commercial from 5:30 to 8pm on September 6th. You can find out more about the group at Nevada County democrats.com
