Free Stargazing Saturday

The Big Bend exit is about 30 miles above Colfax on Interstate 80. Turn left, and drive about a half-mile past the U-S Forest Service Visitor’s Center. The trailhead parking lot will be on the left side…

About 50 to 60 people usually attend the stargazing events. There is no charge. And even though the weather has been warm, Machholz advises you to bring a jacket. It gets cool at night and the elevation is about 58-hundred feet.
