Films on food wine and agriculture will be showing at the BriarPatch Co-op Community Room beginning February 3rd and running through March. Mellisa Hannum, Assistant Marketing Manager at the BriarPatch Co-op, says the Friday food Films series will feature films of local origin and films to educate, and many of them come out of the Wild and Scenic Film Festival.
“Well, it started a few years ago because people really didn’t get the time to watch all of those fantastic food films that are shown at Wild and Scenic every year as well as films that I run across over the year that sound like they might be a good fit.”
Some of the films include the Dark Side of Chocolate, Two Angry Moms, and The Quest for Local Honey which follows bee keepers in Nevada County. All Friday Film screenings start at 7pm in the Community Room at BriarPatch, and are free and open to the public, but they suggest you come early as seating is limited.
