Grass Valley City Administrator Dan Holler is taking a 2% pay cut in his latest 3 year contract with the City approved at Tuesday night’s city council meeting. Holler says his employment agreement is along the same lines as other city employees.
“Basically, a lot of the same requests that we had of our employees. It was a 2% pay reduction. We’ll be picking up more of the retirement payments, more medical. So yeah, it’s the same type of cut, picking up more of our cost from employees, I did the same thing.”
Holler says a couple of city capital projects were awarded at council meeting including road improvements and a sewer project near the Habitat for Humanity site and both bids came in below estimates.
