Grass Valley City Council Meeting

The Grass Valley City Council, tonight (Tuesday) will once again take up the topic of the city’s redevelopment agency.  The California Supreme Court has agreed to hear the redevelopment petition agianst the state, and placed a stay on the so called ransom payments to the state until they reach a decision.   City Manager Dan Holler says several requirements of the bill, AB1X 26 are still in force.

“We have to provide a report to the state of all of the obligations that we have outstanding including, for the first six months of the year, what we expect to spend on staff times or what type of agreements we have out there which are debt service payments, everything.”

Also this evening in closed session city administrator Dan Holler’s employment agreement should be finalized. The open meeting of the Grass Valley city council meeting is at 7pm tonight (Tuesday) in council chambers inside city hall at 125 East Main Street.
