Grass Valley Man Suspect in Auburn Armed Robbery

A Grass Valley man believed to be a suspect in an armed robbery in Auburn has been taken into custody. Auburn Police Sergeant Michael Garlock says the robbery occurred at the Auburn Food and Gas the evening of February 7. The Sergeant says detectives started following up on leads and tips from the public.

24 year old Jeremiah Navratil was taken into custody by Auburn and Grass Valley Police when they served a search warrant at his  residence in the 14 hundred block of  Segsworth Way  in Grass Valley Tuesday afternoon. A fire arm thought to have been used in the robbery and other evidence was seized.  Navatil was taken into custody for suspicion of armed robbery and allegedly committing another felony while out on bail.
