GV City Manager Holler Resigns

Grass Valley City Manager, Dan Holler has submitted his resignation to the city.  His last day will be September 3.  Grass Valley Mayor, Dan Miller says the action was taken following  an annual performance review  which  was conducted in closed session at the city council meeting Tuesday Night.

Holler has 25 years in public service and was instrumental in The City of Grass Valley obtaining financing to move forward with the Dorsey Drive Interchange project. He was a driving force in developing the new Grass Valley Downtown Visitors Center and in  the passage of a sales tax measure for police and firefighters.

In a released statement Holler says “For me and the City, it is time for a change. The City has a bright future and will continue to serve its residents, businesses and visitors well. ”
Grass Valley  Public Works Director, Tim Kiser, will be acting  City Administrator  until a replacement can be found.
