As of this weekend, the first semester of the 2012-2013 school year will have come to an end. The last couple of weeks have been filled with long hours of studying for finals, Senior Projects, and the countdown to break. For seniors, we are half way there. Last week, seniors had to participate in mock interviews, a requirement for Senior Projects and most importantly, graduation. Each senior dressed in their best business attire and was interviewed by different community members. Along with the interviews, seniors had to turn in a resumé and cover letter, explaining to the interviewer why they would be a good candidate for the job. For some, the experience was intimidating and then for others it was a piece of cake. The purpose of the mock interviews is to prepare students for any real job interview that they will have in the future. The students enjoyed dressing professional and overall aced the interviews.
