Hospitality Houses Closes Escrow on New Building

Hospitality house, the nomadic shelter program for our area homeless people, closed escrow on their new building. Cindy maple, executive director shares her joy at the news this morning.

“We now own the building at 1262 Sutton Way. It’s such an exciting day! I just have to say that I cried with relief when I got the e-mail that we recorded this morning so I am really happy.”

Maple says they are talking with planners on remodeling the building for the purposes of housing 54 homeless and feeding and providing needed services to many more in our community. Once remodel work begins, Maple believes the project will take 5 to 6 months before they can open their doors to the homeless people of our area.
