Impaired Driver to Blame for Rollever Accident on Indian Springs Road

A Penn Valley man lost control of pickup then went over a embankment and landed upside down. CHP Public Information Officer Marc Morrison says the accident was reported shortly after nine-thirty Sunday evening. Officer Morrison says the 21 year old driver lost control of his 2006 Ford Pickup at Indian Springs and Spenceville intersection, after he accelerated very quickly. Officer Morrison says the driver went down a nine foot embankment.

“The truck immediately spun off the side and dropped down into a nine foot drop off on the side of the road and overturned onto its top. He was found at that location still in the vehicle.”

The somewhat uncooperative driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver did not suffer any injures in the accident.
