Jessica Hudson Chosen as New Librarian

Jessica Hudson has been selected as the new County Librarian to replace MaryAnn Trygg who retires on December 9th. Ms. Hudson has a BS in Business Administration from CSUS and a Masters in Library and Information Science from CSUSJ. She is the current County Librarian for Tehama County and before that spent 10 years working in the Solano and Placer County library systems. The selection process was very competitive, there were 15 qualified applicants and the top 5 candidates were interviewed before two interview panels From these interviews, two candidates moved on to the final process. County CEO Rick Haffey says we are excited to have Ms. Hudson as part of the County’s Senior Executive team. Her first day in Nevada County will be onMonday December 12th.
