Lake of the Pines Man Arrested Twice in 24 Hours

It happened again. A Lake of the Pines man who was arrested for assaulting his mother yesterday morning (Thursday) was arrested again just after midnight *this* morning. 32 year-old Michael Gildea was first arrested after he was intoxicated, and tried to get his mother’s car keys. When she refused to hand them over, he reportedly took a baseball bat and destroyed her television set.  Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says this time he took the car, but with the help of Lake of the Pines security, deputies were able to find him…

Gildea was booked on auto theft, driving under the influence, and also interfering with a 9-1-1 call. This is the second time in 24 hours, and the third time in about two weeks that Gildea has been arrested. Also, his mother was arrested for assaulting him, in 2012.

He needs to be in a maximum security cell and no more peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for him.
