Laughter on the Way to Recovery

Addiction and Recovery are serious topics that some people may not find funny. However, Comedian Katie Sabira Rubin, is a recovering addict that has made humor and laughter part of the recovery process. In her one woman,  multi-part performance, Rubin explores the pathway to recovery in a light manner.

A stand-up comedian, Rubin has performed at all of the major comedy clubs in the Los Angeles area, but she prefers theaters, auditoriums, and smaller venues when performing her addiction shows. Rubin draws on her real life experience as a recovering addict.
