Linda Man Jacks Car at Knifepoint

A Linda man is accused of using a knife to carjack another’s car. Yuba County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Damon Gil says a confrontation between two men happened Wednesday night on Arboga Road. The Lieutenant says during the confrontation the suspect produces a knife and threatened the victim.

“He was confronted by a man who had a knife and during the confrontation there was a physical confrontation between the two and when our victim attempted to back away from the subject with a knife, that subject got into his vehicle and drove away.”

The victim was able to locate his stolen car. Sheriff’s Deputies were able to locate 28 year old Erin Mounts of Linda and he was taken him into custody for suspicion of carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.
