Lou Meyer Leaves Sups Race for Personal Reasons

In a one line e-mail to local media Mr. Lou Meyer stated that for personal reasons he has decided not to run for district one supervisor. The Chicago Park resident’s name will still appear on the June ballot.

Meyer waited un till very close to the filing deadline to enter the race and 10 days later respectfully withdraws his candidacy. According to sources Meyer is the president of Foothill Arts, Resources & Media (The FARM) a California non-profit supporting Maidu language classes, Poetry Out Loud competition for High School students, and music & arts education for children. He is also the host of Reality Check, a popular interview show on NCTV.

Other candidates who have entered the District 1 supervisors race are incumbent Nate Beason, Sue McGuire and Al Bulf.
