Man Arrested on Drug and Illegal Weapons Charges in Grass Valley

A Grass Valley Police Office pulled over a vehicle yesterday morning when he observed the driver driving over the posted speed limit. Sgt. Jayson Perry says when the officer made contact with the driver he found 21 year old Christopher Joel Argento did not have a valid drivers license.  and a search of the vehicle uncovered narcotics and illegal weapons.

Sgt. Perry says the pills found in the vehicle were suspected morphine and dilaudid, and two double sided throwing knives were found in a side pocked of the vehicle.
Argento was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on felony charges of  Possession of Narcotics, Carrying a Concealed Dirk or Dagger and Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia.
