Man Returns to Jail Just After Release

Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says Narcotics investigators went to the Valley Commons Apartments Tuesday afternoon and saw 31 year old Justin Montgomery of Grass Valley. The man had recently been released from jail with search and seizure as part of his release and when investigators search him, suspected methamphetamine was found.

“He also had what is known as a meth pipe on him. When questioned about the suspected methamphetamine and the pipe, he said he had no idea that he had it. It wasn’t his sweater, of course, it belonged to someone else. Unfortunately for Mr. Montgomery, he returned to jail on new charges.”

He was returned to the jail for suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
