Marijuana Grower Beaten and Robbed

A marijuana Grower says he was beaten and robbed by his employees. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the 62 year old victim had hired three people to work for him in harvesting marijuana. The victim says on November eleventh, the three employees tied him up and beat him with a metal pipe. The Sheriff says the victim consulted with an attorney, and then went to a medical clinic when law enforcement was notified. The sheriff says the three former employees are being sought for questioning only.

“The three individuals were identified as Francis or Frankie Martinez, 19 years of age, Amber Tutten, a 22 year old female who has pink hair and is reported to be from Australia and a third person only known as Silas, a 20 year old male.”

The Sheriff says twenty pounds of processed marijuana and twenty-five hundred dollars in cash were allegedly taken. Anyone with information on the where a bouts of the three people is asked to call the Sheriff’s office.
