McKay Open Studio Pictures Stolen

Nevada City Mayor David McKay, reported the theft of a photograph that was on display in his driveway as part of the Open Studios Tour featured in Nevada City the past 2 weeks. MayKay has participated in the Open Studios Tour for 12 years from his Clay Street location and believed the displays of his many art works were resonably secured.

McKay describes the 28-inch by 64-inch photograph as 3 bright orange daylilies over a black background. He is asking for the communities help in its return. Anyone who happens to see the image as described is encouraged to call the Nevada City Police Department as 265-4700. Mckay values the image at $11 hundred and 50 dollars.
