A Mountain Lion has been spotted roaming in and near Grass Valley’s Condon Park . Grass Valley Police Sgt. Alex Gammelgard says the first report was shortly before midnight Monday evening.
California Department of Fish and Game was called to investigate. They didn’t find the Mountain Lion but advised area residents of the sightings. Mountain Lions prey on deer as a food source, Mountain Lions typically will not attack a person. If you should encounter a Mountain Lion Department of Fish and Game advises you should stand tall, make yourself appear as big as possible.
