Nevada City Affordable Housing Plan

The city of Nevada City planning commission reviewed the proposed affordable housing plan on Providence Mine Road in Nevada City earlier this month and the planning commission liked what was presented. The plan for the 12.9 acre site proposes 59 dwelling units of various sizes which the commission members were looking for, including 20 percent of the units being less than 15 hundred square feet and another 10 percent are less than 1250 square feet. The planning commission approved the plan and it will move forward to the Nevada City City council in September or October for consideration.
