The Nevada City City council will be meeting in closed session for a special city council meeting Wednesday at 9am for a study session to discuss a plan for upcoming changes for city manager, city attorney, city engineer and police chief. City co-mayor Dwayne Strawser says they have been gathering information for such a plan over the past 2 years.
“We’ve been discussing this for a couple of years now, since we’ve been working towards, even when Gene was here, that’s how we dealt with him and his replacement with Dave Brennan. We’ve already been coming up with ideas on that. The information that we’ve turned in over the last couple of years had turned into a cohesive plan for us to consider.”
The council will also be meeting with the city manager regarding salaries and benefits for unrepresented employees.
