Nevada County residents will be outnumbered at the Nevada City Film Festival that opens Thursday, Aug. 16. Jesse Locks is the festival director.
Locks says the Nevada City Film Festival reflects the new communications technology of the times.
“Watershed,” narrated and produced by Robert Redford and his son Jamie, will be shown during the four-day film festival. The film chronicles the Colorado River, which conservationists say is endangered by development and global warming.
