Nevada County Fair is Looking for Local Entertainers

The Nevada County Fair is now accepting applications for local entertainers and community acts to perform at the 2012 Nevada County Fair, August 8 – 12.  Fair CEO Sandy Woods says they will consider a wide range of acts.

“Anything under the sun. Can you twirl a baton or do martial arts or perhaps cheerleading, dancing, local youth bands, anything like that. Unfortunately, these are not paid compensation acts, but they are really part of the heart of the fair; the charm of local people coming out and showing their talent.”

Applications are now available on the website at www.NevadaCountyFair.com  To be considered, the application must be returned to the Fairgrounds by June 1.

This year’s Fair is August 8 – 12, and the theme is “Barnyard Safari.” For more information, call (530) 273-6217.
