Nevada Union Hosts Financial Aid Night

Parents of seniors applying to college, vocational school and other specialized programs after high school graduation are encouraged to attend a free talk on financial aid, grants and scholarships. Counselor Terrill Korrell says the speakers will be covering all types of financial aid.

“Jill Haley has been a counselor in this district for 25 years, so she’s super knowledgeable about financial aid, loans, scholarships, work study, all things that apply to money at the college level. Barbara Ross, who is our district scholarship coordinator, she’ll be presenting some information about scholarships that will be available right after Christmas, really important information for the kids and parents to hear as well.”

The event is Tuesday December 6th from 6 to 8 pm in the Baggett Theater on the campus of Nevada union high school.
