North San Juan Spaghetti Feed For Firefighters

The annual North San Juan Spaghetti feed and Dutch auction is coming up Saturday March 24th. Public information officer Tracy Corris says the North San Juan Firefighters association and Fire Auxiliary are hoping to raise funds to purchase needed items for firefighters.

“Uniforms, duty shirts, things of that nature which adds a little bit to the uniform capabilities of the firefighters, but it’s not something that the fire district normally will provide and with the current tight budgetary constraints, we’re kind of limited in what we can do.”

This is the 150th year for the North San Juan fire department with 30 volunteer firefighters. The Spaghetti Dinner includes salad and garlic bread. There is also a Dutch auction with items donated from local businesses, artists, musicians and services. Tickets are $9.00 for adults and $6.00 for kids 12 and under. The food and fun begins at 6 PM and for seniors at 5 PM at the North San Juan Fire Hall at 10057 Reservoir Street, NSJ.
