NU Food Drive Starts Today

Nevada Union High School is conducting a canned food drive to benefit needy families in our community.  Canned foods will be collected in classrooms  and new this year, Senior Class President Morgan Harvey says students invite the community to drive by the High School today through Thursday November 10th  and NU’ students will collect the donated food from your car.

“We will have, after school from 3:00 to 5:00 in the Don Bagget Theater Parking lot, student body members collecting cans and we really encourage community members to stop by with canned food. We  really appreciate it.”

The canned food drive has been going on at NU for over 30 years, last year nearly five thousand cans of food were collected and donated.  The food will be donated to the Ladies relief society.
