One Man Arrested in Attempted Robbery at Eisley's Nursery

Eisley’s Nursery in Auburn was broken into around 6:20 pm on Friday. Owner William Eisley contacted the Auburn police department to report a person entering his closed and locked business. Five officers responded and surrounded the business. An open door was found in the back of the business and an officer called inside and warned the intruder, 23 year old David Michael Fuchs, that a K-9 would enter and possibly bite him. Fuchs presented himself and was taken into custody without incident, and after being advised of the Miranda rights, admitted to forcibly entering the business. Fuchs was booked into the Placer County Jail on the charge of burglary.
