Vandals have caused a considerable amount of damage to the Penn Valley Post Office. Post Master Carol Bean says vandals entered the Post Office Saturday night and broke building fixtures, spread mail on the floor and damaged the ceiling.

The Post Master is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the sheriff’s office. Post Master Bean said she may have to restrict the hours the post office is open if the vandalism continues.
