Placer County Rape Suspect Arrested In Sacramento County

Last night, Placer County Sheriff’s detectives apprehended a man they had been seeking for more than a month on rape charges. The man was wanted for raping a severely disabled woman in a Penryn care home where he worked last year.
Detectives arrested Marquise Montgomery, 22, in Elverta, for the rape of a person unable to give consent.
Placer County Lead Detective, Lt Mark Reed, said  Montgomery was identified as a person of interest when the pregnancy first be came evident, however he no longer worked for the facility. The other males employees were eliminated as suspects.

Detectives were able to get a DNA sample that could be used to match Montgomery to the baby.

Montogomery is being held on150,000 dollars bail at Placer County Jail. He has a coust date scheduled for FRiday.
